Both formula rankings are included in Kenneth Massey's College Football Ranking Comparison (code DKC is the MOV rankings, code Sonas is the BCS-compliant / non-MOV rankings.)

These rankings are also listed in the College Football Data Warehouse under the topic of National Championships, Current National Championship Selectors.

DKC SUCCESS RATE: 93.1% (27 of 29 years)
These ratings have a very high success rate in deciding the National Champion, only missing in years 1983 (Auburn instead of Miami, FL) and 1989 (Notre Dame instead of Miami, FL). In years where the National Champion was split between two teams (1990, 1991, 1997, 2003), these ratings selected at least one of the two teams. Note: National champions weren't officially determined until 1889. DKC success rate does not take into consideration any mythical champions pre-1889.

Ratings are usually updated on Monday mornings (all things considered).

1883 and 1884 season rankings are online. I guess a very late "congrats" is in order for Yale...? :)
2003 season rankings are BCS-compliant only. The Margin of Victory formula was overhauled during the 2003 season; therefore it would not have been fair to try and apply it to a season in progress.

Matthews/Scripps Howard - Herman Matthews, college mathematics professor in Middlesboro, KY. Since 1965, and since 1995 for Scripps Howard news service. UPDATE: As of 2008, this is no longer being maintained "due to the health condition of the owner" according to the website.
Foundation for the Analysis of Competitions and Tournaments (FACT) - David Rothman, semi-retired defense and aerospace statistician and co-chairman of the 1970's American Statistical Association's Committee on Statistics in Sport and Competition. Since 1968. Rothman passed away in 2004, but FACT is in the public domain.
Dunkel Index - Bob Dunkel and Richard Dunkel, Jr., a power rating system that has been run by now three generations of Dunkel family members. Originally started in 1929 by R.C. (Dick) Dunkel and continued by his son, R.H. (Dick) Dunkel, until the latter's death in 2002, now in the hands of Bob and Richard, Jr.
New York Times - unknown who or what creates these rankings.
